Hi, I’m Shannon (she/her)

My passion for birth began the first time I saw a birth video as a young child - the power to bring a baby into the world seemed like magic. For a decade, I worked in the nonprofit world, where I focused on advancing equity, building communities of support, and promoting health. During that time, as my friends began having babies, I found myself deeply drawn into their experiences. I eagerly researched alongside them, listened to their birth stories, and showed up postpartum in whatever ways I could. My experiences with my closest friends empowered me to follow my heart and become a professional birth worker.

In 2024, I completed my doula training with ToLabor and MaternityWise. My strengths lie in creating a calming birth environment, offering intuitive massage, and getting creative with positions to encourage labor progress. I work in collaboration with your birth partner to create the most supportive conditions for you

Pregnancy and birth are among life’s greatest adventures. It’s an opportunity to tap into our deepest strength, intuition, and connection to those around us and those who came before us. Yet, too many birthing people today feel isolated and disempowered. My mission is to change that. Through holistic, evidence-based, and deeply personalized care, I help families navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with confidence, courage, and connection.

Originally from Colorado, I now call Baltimore home. Outside of birth work, I find joy in yoga, zouk dancing, hand embroidering, hiking, cooking, and spending meaningful time with my family and friends.
